I am a Chemical Engineer, inventor, and industrial innovation consultant with a passion for transforming scientific discoveries into commercially viable technologies. Holding a dual PhD in Chemical Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, and the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), I combine academic excellence with extensive experience delivering engineering solutions that address real industrial challenges. My work spans industrial biotechnology, membrane technology, sustainable process engineering, and advanced product development, with a strong focus on technologies that create measurable environmental and commercial impact.

Throughout my career, I have led the development of patented engineering systems from laboratory concept to pilot-scale implementation. I am the inventor or co-inventor of four patented technologies, including advanced membrane bioreactors and algae-based biocement systems, with multiple technologies progressing toward industrial commercialization. These innovations have contributed to sustainable manufacturing, circular economy initiatives, and clean technology development within the UAE.

Beyond research, I have directed multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with leading industrial partners, including ADNOC and Erth Abu Dhabi, developing solutions in renewable materials, drilling fluid technologies, sustainable personal care products, and biotechnology-driven manufacturing. I have also supervised advanced research facilities, managed complex engineering laboratories, and mentored researchers while ensuring that innovation is translated into practical industrial outcomes.

My work has resulted in numerous publications in internationally recognized journals, multiple U.S. patents, and national recognition through the UAEU Chancellor Innovation Award and the Sharjah Sustainability Award. These achievements reflect my commitment to developing technologies that extend beyond research and deliver tangible value to industry and society.
